Rennteam Uni Stuttgart beim Big Techday 2026
This year, we are delighted to be part of Big Techday 2026, an event that brings together students, companies and technology enthusiasts, offering a platform for exciting talks, innovative ideas and discussions on the latest developments in technology and engineering. We are delighted to take part in such an event and to present our student association, Rennteam Uni Stuttgart e. V. A big thank you to the support of our co-sponsor TNG Technology, who made the participation possible.
Rennteam Uni Stuttgart e. V. consists entirely of students from a wide range of disciplines. We all share one goal: every year, we develop, design and build our own electric racing car, with which we compete at Formula Student competitions. Countless hours are invested in this project, and we put our heart and soul into our work.
At Big Techday 2026, we will give a presentation offering insights into our work and demonstrating how a student motorsport project of this scale is organised and implemented. A particular focus of our presentation will be on our autonomous system. We will show how we enable our racing car to drive autonomously and provide insights into the technologies used for this purpose, such as sensor technology, software development and control systems.
We’ll also be discussing the entire development process of our racing car. Starting with the initial concept, followed by design and simulation, all the way to manufacturing and ultimately its use on the racetrack. During the season, we encounter technical challenges that the team must resolve. We’ll show you the role that teamwork, project management and interdisciplinary collaboration play for our us, and what we do as a team to ensure a successful season.
Our talk is aimed at anyone interested in motorsport, technology and student projects. Students in particular will have the opportunity to learn more about our work and take a look behind the scenes of a student racing team. We look forward to being part of Big Techday 2026 and sharing our experiences with you. If you’d like to find out more about our team, our vehicles and our work, feel free to attend our talk!
